Beaver Panto Trip

This year we plan on taking the Beavers to the Theatre Clwyd to partipate in a cult rock n roll production of Dick Whittington. There will be disco frocks, sparkling sets, slapstick galore and the panto puppets. Take a trip with Dick down streets paved with Welsh gold as actor-musicians play rock and soul songs live! This is the highest award you can achieve in Beavers. It shows that you have done your very best and made the most of your time in Beavers. In celebration of your huge achievement we are holding an awards ceremony for all the Beavers in the District at The Heath. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers are invited to take part in JOTI and make contact with other Scouts from all over the world using Teamspeak, Minecraft and other digital platforms! JOTI is  World’s Largest Digital Scout Event promoting friendship and global citizenship! The educational event brings together more than 2.5 million Scouts every year in October for a weekend of Scouting and friendship. Beaver District Challenge

Once again we will be holding Our District challenge.  This year we have a change of Venue to 1st Weston & Weston Point. As usual we will be running the event in teams of 6 from each Colony.  Teams will move round the venue at timed intervals.  Leaders should bring along a base that could be attributed to life skills etc.  This is a fun afternoon for Beavers

Wizarding Adventures

Wands at the ready… its time for a wizarding adventure! Open to all Beaver and Cubs in the District, our EuroJam Contingent are organising lots of fun wizardry activities in a round robin format which at the end will earn them a badge they can put on their campfire blanket! Please come in optional fancy dress if you want to. Drink and a snack included. All proceeds support the Mersey Weaver EuroJam Unit.

CuBe is a County Camp for Beavers and Cubs. During the weekend Beavers and Cubs will navigate 5 action packed “Olympic Ring” zones, competing for the glory of sub-camp Olympic champions. Participants will experience a range of Gold, Silver and Bronze activity experiences under the banner of; Bounce, World, Adventure, Creation, Science & Tech and of course Sports.
