Youth Forum Winter Camp

17th January 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 19th January 2025 @ 1:00 pm

We want to keep young people at the heart of everything we do and enable you to shape our District’s development. To support this, we host quarterly Youth Forums open to all Scouts, Explorers, Young Leaders and Network members.
The aim of the youth forum is to give young people the opportunity to voice your opinion, while spending some time outdoors having plenty of fun!
The next Youth Forum is scheduled to take place from Friday 17 January – Sunday 19 January. Please book on by the 12 January.
We will be hosting the youth forum at our very own Queen Charlotte’s Wood Activity Centre in Alvanley. This is a great opportunity for young people to have a fun filled weekend away trying lots of activities as well as making new friends from across Mersey Weaver.
Scouting is about everyone being able to learn skills for life and have fun. In Mersey Weaver we would never want a young person to miss out due to the cost. If you’re at all concerned about covering the cost of attending this event, please speak to our District Youth Leads, Grace Wheeler and Ethan Finlay in confidence. There are many ways we can support you.
Who Should Attend?
The Forum is open to all youth members who attend a Scout Troop, Explorer Unit or Network in Mersey Weaver. We encourage anyone regardless of age, ability or role to come along and give your views and input but are especially keen that there is at least one Scout and Explorer from each Troop/Unit represented.
